D2C Commerce Engine
EnterpriseOrder to doorstep — payments, fulfilment and customer comms in one flow.
Why this bundle exists
The gap between a working storefront and a working commerce operation is everything that happens after checkout. The order has to be paid for, the payment reconciled, a courier booked, the customer told, and the operations team alerted when something goes wrong. Most D2C brands assemble this from a handful of Zapier automations and cron jobs, and it holds until the first sale volume spike.
This bundle wires it as one traced pipeline. The order is captured from Shopify as it is placed, payment is collected through Razorpay and reconciled against the order, a shipment is created in Shiprocket with a courier assigned, the customer is notified on WhatsApp, and the operations team gets a Slack alert for anything that needs a human. Each step is idempotent, so a replayed webhook does not double-charge or double-ship, and a failure at any point is visible rather than silent.
What it replaces
- Zapier chains and cron jobs stitching the storefront to fulfilment
- Manual courier booking from an operations spreadsheet
- Customers emailing support to ask where their order is
- Payment reconciliation performed at the end of the month
- Silent failures discovered when a customer complains
What you need in place
- A Shopify store with a custom app and API scopes
- A Razorpay merchant account
- A Shiprocket account with pickup locations and courier partners configured
- A WhatsApp Business account with approved notification templates

D2C Commerce Engine — FAQs
How long does this bundle take to go live?
Around two weeks, since every connector in it is already built and tested.
Can we swap Shopify for WooCommerce?
Yes. The commerce step is interchangeable — WooCommerce feeds the same order model, and the rest of the pipeline is unchanged.
What if the customer has no WhatsApp?
The notification step falls back to SMS through Twilio or MSG91 automatically, so the customer is still informed.
Does this handle returns?
The base bundle covers the forward flow. Returns and reverse logistics are a common extension and use the same courier connectors.
